Dean Newcombe is the founder of Dn Casting and a casting director based in Japan with nearly two decades of experience across advertising, media, and entertainment production. Originally from the United Kingdom, he worked internationally as a model and actor across Europe and Asia before continuing his career in Japan, where his experience in front of the camera led naturally into casting and talent direction in Tokyo.
Drawing on first-hand industry experience and an extensive network across Japan, Dean has cast hundreds of talents for commercials, advertising campaigns, television, film, and fashion projects. Alongside talent casting, he works extensively on influencer campaigns, casting creators and advising clients on social media marketing strategy. He also extends his skill set to work as a producer on television series and commercial video projects.
